Catherine Robinson
Computer Science Teacher
Catherine Robinson joined us from Prestatyn High School, in North Wales, UK. She qualified from the University of Wales Cardiff in the UK with a BSc in Business Administration. She qualified as an ICT Teacher from the University of Liverpool John Moores and has been teaching 13 years across the Year 7 to Year 13 age range, in ICT and Computer Science. She has also gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Computing for Teachers from Glyndwr University in Wrexham, North Wales, UK. She has been 2nd in Department in ICT and Computer Science. Catherine has also led primary transition ICT projects and has organised volunteering opportunities for Key Stage 4 pupils as part of their Community Challenge. Catherine’s interests beyond the classroom are varied but she enjoys reading, learning about the Korean language, history and culture, running socially with distances of 5km, 10km and is now training for her first official half marathon. She enjoys the outdoors by walking, hiking and camping in the mountains as well as socialising with good food and friends.
