Head of Art
Daniel has joined us from Dulwich College Beijing where he was an Art Teacher and Head of House. He studied Fine Art at Limerick School of Art and Design before completing his PGCE at Nottingham Trent University where he is also currently working towards a Master of Arts in Education. Daniel has exhibited his artwork in exhibitions in Galway, Limerick, Gangneung, Shanghai and most recently, in a solo exhibition in Islington, London. He specialises in printmaking, with a focus on mythology, culture and history. Beyond the classroom, Daniel is an avid sportsman and has participated in Gaelic football, hurling, soccer, rugby, netball and a charity boxing event. He is also an enthusiastic chess player, having run Dulwich College Beijing’s chess club and organised visits to the school and exhibition games with chess Grandmaster, Zhao Xue. Daniel also enjoys reading, history, photography, languages and food.
