Germán Zea
Biology Teacher
Germán Zea joined us from Marymount School in Bogota, Colombia. He holds a BSc in Biology from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC). He has also completed an MSc in Sustainable Management of Natural Resources at the University of Leicester in England and a Postgraduate Degree in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Los Andes in Colombia. German has been teaching General Science in middle school and Biology and Nature of Science in the IBDP programme for over 10 years. As a teacher, he focuses on encouraging students to appreciate the nature of science and become scientifically educated. German is passionate about hiking mountains and playing tennis.
