James Dines
College Director of Sport
James is in his ninth year in Korea and joins us from the International School of Koje in Geoje. James specializes in Physical Education and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico. He has taught Physical Education for six years and has been an Athletic Director for five years. James has been coaching volleyball and basketball for the past eight years and will be working with the High School and Middle School Volleyball and Basketball Teams here at Dulwich College Seoul. Prior to coming to Korea, James taught Social Studies and coached High School Varsity Baseball in the United States. James’s interests beyond the classroom extend to his love of music, literature and golf. He is accompanied by his wife Seonji and their daughter and son.
