Kristin Vestermark
Senior Science Teacher (Biology)
Kristin joined us from Preshil – The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School in Melbourne, Australia where she taught general science, Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies. Kristin gained her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biology at the University of Southampton. For her honours research project she investigated the potential of poplar as a second-generation bioenergy crop. Kristin completed her accelerated Master of Teaching at Monash University during which she was also successfully awarded a summer scholarship with the School of Biological Sciences and assisted with research on flowering time in canola, an important oilseed crop. Outside the classroom, Kristin enjoys reading, exploring new places, tennis, and dancing.
