From DUCKS to UC Irvine: Daniel K Reflects on 15 Years at Dulwich

As Dulwich College Seoul celebrates its 15th anniversary, few stories capture the spirit of our community quite like that of Daniel K (Class of 2025), a student who was part of our College for all 15 years.

From joining DUCKS at age three to now studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Irvine, Daniel’s journey reflects a lifelong curiosity and passion for discovery. His fascination with flight and science began at an early age when he dismantled his family toaster at just five years old to see how it worked.

In his alumni testimonial, Daniel shares how the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, together with the support of his teachers and access to Dulwich’s state-of-the-art science labs, helped him further explore his passion for STEM. He also reflects on the teachers who played a key role in his IB journey, offering guidance, mentorship, and encouragement throughout his studies.
