Cindy Kim joined Dulwich College Seoul from the Little School, Seoul, where she worked as a Music teacher for EYFS and KS1 age groups. She holds a Master of Music degree in voice performance from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, USA. She graduated from the same university with an Advanced Certificate in Music Education and holds a New York State teaching certificate. Cindy has worked at the New Dawn Elementary School in New York as a General Music teacher, where she developed singing classes and taught General Music. She has been a faculty member of Musipire, a music institution in New York, and has taught Voice and Piano to students of all ages. After moving to Korea, she worked as a substitute Music teacher at Seoul Foreign School. Cindy has experience as a classical singer and women’s choir conductor. She has performed in various operas and oratorios, such as ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’, ‘The Magic Flute’ and ‘The Creation’ as a principal singer. Cindy lives with her young son, Nathan, and husband, George, who works as a Director of Music at an international institution in Seoul. She loves to sing, read, walk and have Quiet Time, especially in the morning.
