Eve graduated with a MA in Education from the University of Macquarie (Sydney) while also studying TESOL and acquired a post-graduate certificate from Macquarie’s National Centre for English Language Teaching and Research (NCELER). Since graduating she has worked at Yew Chong International School in Beijing, where she was mainly responsible for teaching the foreign language IGCSE and IB groups from beginners to advanced and at Marlborough College Malaysia as Head of Chinese. There she started teaching First Language Mandarin and achieved with her students some great results. Eve also contributed towards the whole process of IB accreditation at Marlborough College Malaysia. Eve has also worked in a variety of positions in Chinese schools, including seven years as a homeroom teacher in a local Senior high school, two years as a coordinator of Year 11 and three years as the Head of a Chinese History department. Eve’s interests include badminton, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese brush painting, reading and travelling. She is introducing Chinese traditional cultures such as Beijing opera mask creation and paper crafting in Seoul.
