Sancho Cheung joined us from Epsom College in Malaysia. Sancho holds an MSci (Hons) degree in Physics from Imperial College London, a PGCE in Secondary Science from Homerton College, Cambridge and an MA in Education, specialising in Applied Linguistics from the Open University. Sancho taught in England for ten years before taking up the teaching position in Malaysia. He has worked in a range of posts including Key Stage Five Science Coordinator, Head of Physics, and Aspiring Lead Practitioner. In the classroom, he likes to focus on developing students’ literacy skills in science, and the use of assessment-for-learning techniques, the former of which was the topic of his MA in Education research project. Outside the classroom, Sancho enjoys running, swimming and scuba diving.
