Tim Appleton
Senior School Librarian
Tim joins us after five years as the Secondary School Librarian at the British School of Bucharest, where he moved with his wife and son following four years in Egypt. Before completing his Masters in Information Studies in the UK in 2010, he worked in university and public libraries. His major interests - apart from reading - are languages and sport. Having finished a first degree in Linguistics at Edinburgh University, Tim has attempted (and mostly failed) to learn more languages than he cares to remember, and Korean is next on the hit list. He enjoys running and hiking and is trying to overcome an unhealthy obsession with lower-division Romanian football.
