Belinda Cox

Year 4 Teacher

Belinda Cox has joined us from Burgmann Anglican School, in Canberra, Australia, where she has taught for the last seven years. She completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the Australian Catholic University, before beginning her teaching career in 2004. Belinda has specialised in Gifted Education, through the University of NSW, where she obtained her Graduate Certificate. She has a passion for ‘out of the box’ thinking, and has established differentiated and accelerated learning programs in a number of schools across Canberra. Her work in supporting gifted students was recognised by the prestigious Australian Council for Educational Leaders. Belinda has taught students from Prep to Year 6 and has a passion for integrated and inquiry based learning. She endeavors to develop student’s inquiry  skills, so students are able to make real world connections, become problem solvers and life long learners. Belinda is accompanied by her husband Adam and her twin boys, who are studying at Dulwich College Seoul. Beyond the classroom Belinda has eclectic interests. She enjoys, art, music, cooking, gardening, swimming, cycling, sport, reading, travelling and experiencing new cultures.
