James Tosdevin
Senior School English Teacher
James joined us from Merchiston International School in China, where he taught English and was Senior School Literacy Coordinator and a Head of House. James graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics before gaining a PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University. He also holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from the UCL Institute of Education. James trained under Teach First, the UK’s top teacher training initiative, and has previously taught in the UK and Thailand. In his spare time, James enjoys playing football, reading and playing guitar. He is accompanied by his wife Sophia, who teaches Mathematics at Dulwich College Seoul.
