Jack Watling
Chemistry Teacher
Jack Watling joined us from Ashcroft Technology Academy, in London, United Kingdom. He qualified from the University of Manchester with a Master's in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and then from King's College London with a PGCE in Secondary Education with a specialism in Science. Jack has taught from ages 11-18 for two years in London where he was the IB chemistry lead and during his time at Ashcroft technology Academy the school achieved its best ever IB chemistry results. Jack has many interests outside of the classroom but is happiest when outdoors. An avid runner and hiker, Jack has completed long distance solo treks in the Indian and Nepalese Himalayas, the Alps, the Colorado Rockies and the Scottish Highlands
