Primary School Librarian
Jason Burrows joins us from Haileybury Almaty in Kazakhstan. He qualified from the University of Cumbria in 2011 after previously studying History at the University of Central Lancashire. He taught from Reception to Year 7 in England, Spain, Kazakhstan and even in a Hagwon in Seoul several years ago. He was a Head of House in Almaty and before that was a Deputy Head in Spain where he achieved a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership. He can’t wait to become a teacher librarian and is looking forward to using the fantastic facilities in the Inquiry Hub and sharing his passion for reading with the students. Jason has a passion for sports and recently completed a coast-to-coast cycle in England. He is also a keen footballer and runner and is wanting to complete the Seoul marathon next year. He comes with his wife Nina who is a reception teacher and Head of DUCKS and his 2 year old son Ezra.
