Matthew Readman
Head of Drama
Matthew joined us from Queensbridge School in Birmingham, UK. He received an MA in Drama and Theatre Education from Warwick University where he also completed his teacher training. He has ten years of experience working in Korea, including educational television and radio work with EBS and setting up a chain of English kindergartens with Drama at the heart of the curriculum. Matthew has also worked with several Theatre-in-Education companies in the UK touring Primary and Secondary schools, as an actor/teacher and project leader. As well as being Head of Drama at his previous school he was also a visiting tutor on the Drama and Theatre Education MA at Warwick University and involved in teacher training at Seoul National University of Education. He enjoys hiking and exercising but spends most of his spare time directing productions with young people.
