Investigating the reactions of magnesium

Year 8 students investigated the properties of magnesium as part of their ‘Metals and non-metals’ topic in Science. Here they were heating magnesium to compare its mass before and after the reaction. This follows on from their online learning work studying different groups of elements in the Periodic Table.
