Gareth Wright

Gareth joined us from Jumeirah College in Dubai where he worked as Head of Science and Academic Enrichment Coordinator. Having completed his secondary education at a Military School, he studied at University College London, gaining an MSci in Astrophysics and History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Science. He completed his PGCE at King's College London, which included a placement at the original Dulwich College. Before his four years in Dubai, Gareth worked for two years in East London, where he was Head of Physics. He has taught Physics at A-Level and GCSE throughout his career. Beyond the classroom, Gareth has an interest in debating and was the team coach of the United Arab Emirates at the last two World Schools Debating Championships. He also coached and played football throughout his time in Dubai. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, skiing and cycling.
